MES Music is back in full swing! If you come by the Music Room, you'll hear the sounds of bucket drumming and rhythm reading. You also might hear the sounds of our 4th and 5th graders learning music for their performance in November. Be sure to ask your student what they are doing in Music.

MES 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students are hard at work preparing for our concerts which will take place on January 14th and 15th. Our musical revue is called "Possibilities".  It's all about embracing the dreams and opportunities we will have in our lives. There will be two nights to accommodate the numbers of kids in these 3 grades. The classes will be divided as follows:  MONDAY, JANUARY 14th:  LIND, WAKEFIELD, NAGGIAR, HODGIN , VLCEK.  TUESDAY, JANUARY 15th:  KRETA, WARD, HURSH, OCHOA. The concert will begin at 7:00pm at Central High School Auditorium. Students will need to arrive at 6:30pm and meet with their teacher in the High School Cafeteria. Students should wear nice school clothes. There are no costumes for this concert. If you have questions, please feel free to email me (dwright1@central.k12.or.us) or call the school (503-838-1433) and leave a message for me to return your call. Thank you for your support of the Music program. The kids are working very hard and are looking forward to a great performance!
